Duties

The primary duties of this position are to provide administrative services, support and advices in support of the administrative management of the office.

More specifically, the candidate provides operational support to the regional director in the management of human, financial and material resources including the provision of office services to ensure the efficient functioning of administrative activities and operations.

📌 Workplace:
The official workplace for the positions to be filled is located in Quebec City (320 St-Joseph Street East). Successful candidates will be required to work at the work site in a hybrid work mode. A part-time telework agreement may be discussed and implemented at the time of hiring in accordance with the operational needs of the position to be filled.

This process is intended to immediately fill several indeterminate positions. A pool of qualified candidates will be established to fill only similar positions in the Quebec Regional Office at Indigenous Services Canada.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:
A high school diploma.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCES :
◊ Recent* and significant** experience in providing administrative and financial support services***.
◊ Experience in drafting or reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy.

* Recent experience is defined as experience within the last five (5) years.
** Significant experience is defined as at least twelve (12) months of experience.
***Examples include: providing information, assistance and advice by telephone, e-mail or in person; conducting expense analysis; planning and organizing meetings; preparing, recording or distributing agendas, minutes and background materials for meetings; maintaining files; arranging travel; processing travel claims and paying invoices.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

ASSET EXPERIENCE :
◊ Experience interpreting and applying federal policies in at least two (2) areas: budget monitoring, contracting, travel, procurement, human resources, contribution agreements, asset management or other similar types of administrative functions.
◊ Experience using SAP financial system.
◊ Experience supervising staff.
