EDUCATION:
Secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (see Note 1).
Note 1: The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:
• A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
• An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience, for example:
a) Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in building design and approximately one (1) year of experience in conception and estimation.
b) Collegial Attestation Certificate or Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in a field related to the field of application.
EXPERIENCE:
Basic experience:
• EX-01: Experience using AutoCAD.
Please demonstrate how you meet the experience 2 in at least one or more of the following expertise (mechanical, architectural, electricity):
• EX-02: Experience (see Note 1) in the delivery of technical and specialized building-related guidance concerning mechanical, architectural or electrical systems.
Note 1: Experience means approximately three (3) months. Academic experience is acceptable.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
• AS-01: Post-secondary diploma in building systems technology (221-C0) or in a field related to the position to be filled.
• AS-02: Post-secondary diploma in architectural technology (221.A0) or in a field related to the position to be filled.
• AS-03: Post-secondary diploma in electrical technology (243-D0) or in a field related to the position to be filled.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
• AS-04 : Electricity license – License C.
EXPERIENCE:
• AS-05: Experience in building operation and maintenance.
