The duties include:
-Support of field season operation.
-Support of sampling, collecting data related to crops, weeds, insects and diseases.
-Processing harvest samples for kernel weights, test weights, dockage, etc.
-Data input via computer.
This position is at the Lacombe Research and Development Centre, working both at fields and laboratories.
We are seeking to fill one full-time CASUAL (90-working-day) contract starting immediately.
This process is for casual employment only which is a temporary employment of 90 workings days or less in a calendar year.

• Willing to work under dusty conditions (grain dust etc.).
• Willing to work under various environmental and weather conditions.

Reliability Status security clearance
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime including evenings and weekends.
• Ability and willingness to do physical work including lifting heavy objects up to 25 kg.
• Ability and willingness to work in both field and laboratory environments.
