Main duties:
-Review all printed materials to ensure they are of acceptable quality and records are complete
-Perform routine checks during insertion (visual inspection, among others) and notify the production manager when a problem is identified
-Review all inserted documents before forwarding them to Canada Post
-Write a table of production statistics using Excel

The immediate intent of this process is to hire a controller who will work on a shift schedule on site, at our facilities located in Quebec City. Shifts are from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (on rotation).
A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions within Public Services and Procurement Canada in the Quebec Region whose tenure and status could vary depending on the position to be staffed (indeterminate, determinate, casual - full or part time, as and when required/on call)
A top down selection of candidates may be used at any stage of this process in the determination of those to be given further consideration in the process.
Indeterminate employees at the same group and level or equivalent will be considered for deployment. If no deployment is made, applicants from other groups and levels will be considered in the advertised appointment process.

Successful completion of two years of secondary school
OR
An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience of either administrative support OR clerical experience OR quality assurance experience.
Experience:
- *Recent and *Significant experience in performing clerical duties such as, but not limited to: filing, processing mail, data-entry, scanning documents, etc
- Experience *Recent and *Significant in managing multiple task at the same time.
- Experience recent and *Significant ability to use MS Outlook and MS Excel or any other software.
- Experience in providing customer service ( Client service competency by telephone, in person or in writing.
* Recent is defined as experience acquired within the last two (2) years.
** Significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with full-time performance of duties for a minimum period of twelve (12) months.

Experience:
Recent* and significant** experience in personnel management
* Recent is defined as acquired within the last two (2) years.
** Significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with full-time performance of duties for a minimum period of twelve (12) months.

Operational requirements :
- Be willing and able to bend down, to lift and transport items weighing up to 10 kg, and to safely use warehouse equipment.
Reliability Status security clearance
- Be willing and able to work in a noisy environment.

- Be willing and able to work on site
- Be willing and able to do overtime, as needed
- Must be able to work as a shift worker
- Be willing and able to wear CSA-approved footwear and any other personal protective equipment (PPE) required
