The Canadian Forces Housing Agency (CFHA) is currently looking for a bilingual candidate to fill a key supervisory role within its Housing Services Center located in Petawawa. Our ideal candidate will have financial and budgeting experience as well as great people skills in order to successfully lead a multidisciplinary team.
A LITTLE SOMETHING ABOUT CFHA...
As a Special Operating Agency reporting to the Department of National Defence (DND), CFHA contributes to the quality of life of CAF members and their families through the provision of housing services, and through the responsible and sustainable management of the Department’s housing infrastructure. We are a team of 330 federal public servants who work hard to meet the needs of the Canadian Armed Forces families living in DND housing. We have close to 220 employees at our Housing Services Centres across Canada and 110 employees at our Head Office in Ottawa.
The immediate need is to staff one bilingual imperative (BBB/BBB) position on a permanant (indeterminate) basis. The candidate will need to meet the language requirements up front and not language training will be provided. This process will only be used to staff positions at Housing Services Center Petawawa. No pool of qualified candidates will be established for staffing at other locations.

EDUCATION:
•Successful completion of two years education from an acceptable post-secondary educational program in finance, business or accounting or some other specialty relevant to the position OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
•Experience in budget forecasting, analysis and control.

•Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with ** acceptable specialization in finance, business or accounting or some other specialty relevant to the position OR a diploma or certificate from an acceptable post-secondary educational program in finance, business or accounting or some other specialty relevant to the position.

ASSET EXPERIENCE:
•Experience in residential property management.
•Experience working with a computerized financial management administration systems such as Oracle.
•Significant* supervisory experience.
*Significant is defined as having at least one (1) year experience.
