The immediate need is to staff two (2) bilingual imperative BBB/BBB positions in Moncton, NB. This process could also be used to staff future opportunities of various durations (i.e. indeterminate, term, acting or assignment), various operational requirements or various conditions of employment within the Department of Fisheries and Oceans located in Moncton, NB. EDUCATION:
(AS-01 and AS-02)
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience as it relates to the position being staffed.
EXPERIENCE :
(AS-01 and AS-02)
• Experience in providing administrative support services
• Experience in using Microsoft Outlook, MS Word and Excel in an office environment
• Experience in reviewing, editing and tracking correspondence and other documents
(AS-02 only)
• Recent* and significant** experience providing administrative support services including but not limited to scheduling meetings, preparing background material, managing calendars, receiving and redirecting correspondence, requests etc.
• Experience in managing an electronic calendar.
*Recent is defined as experience having been acquired in the past 3 years
**Significant is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with the performance of the duties for a period of approximately one year.
EDUCATION:
• Successful completion of post-secondary studies in office management, secretarial, administrative support or other training relevant to the position.
EXPERIENCE:
• Experience coordinating both in person and virtual meetings and other events. (such as, but not limited to, meetings, conferences, training events etc.).
• Experience in interpreting policies, procedures and regulations for financial or administrative matters.
• Experience in conducting research, analyzing information and making recommendations.
