❗PG-01 IO entry-level salary is $58,988. Following successful completion of the IO Program (approximately 3 years) IOs are appointed to a permanent PG 04 position, with a salary range of $81,747 to $93,413. JIO MAY be appointed to a permanent PG-02 position with a salary range of $65,440 to $70,668.

This on-line application requires that you answer questions that will be assessing essential competencies. Intent of the process

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 (𝐈𝐎)
The intent of the process is to staff positions within the Intern Officer Development Program with the entry into the Program at the PG-01 level. The Program then allows participants to progressively move up to the PG-04 group and level. Progression occurs after a review panel assesses each participant against standards of competence. Participants considered for progression must meet the competencies for the respective PG-02, PG-03, and PG-04 job requirements. The successful completion of the Program leads to an indeterminate appointment at the PG-04 group and level. Participants recruited from outside the Public Service are subject to a probationary period for the duration of the Program.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MAJORITY OF POSITIONS ARE IN THE NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION (GATINEAU AND OTTAWA) AND ARE BILINGUAL IMPERATIVE BBB/BBB. There are also a few positions to staff in the regions. The number of positions available in the regions may vary.

• College diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution, obtained by June 2023 with at least one of the following specializations: Supply Chain Management OR e-Business Supply Chain Management.

OR

• Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, obtained by June 2023.

𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 (PG-01 which MAY lead to a PG-02):
• A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (see Note 1).

Public Service Entrance Exam UIT

Applicants must complete the Public Service Entrance Exam Unsupervised Internet Test as part of the screening for this selection process. This exam consists of two sub-tests: the Test of Reasoning and the Test of Judgement. While all applicants are asked to take the first sub-test, you will only be invited to take the second sub-test if additional information is required to complete the assessment. You will have 90 minutes to complete the Test of Reasoning and 75 minutes to complete the Test of Judgement (if required). You must complete the test(s) before you submit your application for this position.
