The screening questions will be used as the primary tool in the screening process and the résumé will be used to substantiate the information provided. Applications that do not clearly demonstrate how the screening criteria are met will be eliminated from consideration.

Work environment

The advertised position is located at 159 Cleopatra Drive in Nepean, ON where the candidate would be required to work from the office up to 2 days a month, with additional days depending on operation needs,under a flexible telework arrangement.

Intent of the process

The intent of this anticipatory process is to create a pool of qualified candidates to be used to staff identical or similar positions with various tenures and linguistic profiles (English Essential or Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB) at Transport Canada in the National Capital Region.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education
ED1: A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience
EX1: Experience inputting and retrieving data in a financial management system.
EX2: Experience monitoring financial commitments.
EX3: Experience collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing information from various sources.
EX4: Significant* experience in coordinating various administrative actions, files, or activities simultaneously.

*Significant: complex activities in a wide variety of situations for a minimum of 2 years.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Experience
AEX1: Experience organizing, coordinating and tracking HR services, for example, scheduling interviews, exams, security clearance applications and arrangements for second language evaluations.
AEX2: Experience in generating and completing travel authorities and travel claims in the Federal Government.
AEX3: Experience in providing financial administrative support for invoicing and cost recovery activities.
