A random or top down selection of candidates may be used in the determination of those to be given further consideration in the assessment process.
This is an anticipatory staffing process designed to create a pool of qualified candidates for appointments on an indeterminate and term basis. This pool of qualified candidates may be used to appoint indeterminate and term employees in similar positions.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

CR-05: Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
AS-01: Secondary School Diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience researching and correlating information using multiple sources of information.
Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheet software.
Recent experience providing advice and guidance to clients.
Recent experience using corporate databases. For example: SAP, Total Expenditures and Asset Management System (TEAM), Service Desk Management (SDM).

Ability to communicate effectively in writing.

Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain an RCMP Security Clearance throughout their employment. Depending on the position requirements, the security clearance requirement will be at one of the following RCMP levels: Reliability Status or Secret. This requires a Security/Reliability Interview, a field investigation in matters of Criminal Activities, credit/finances, education, employment, reference, etc.
