Duties

The different tasks you would have to perform (not limited to):

✔Provide property and facility management services (such as space optimization, office planning, tenant services in leased and Crown-owned buildings).
✔Manage construction or renovation projects in accordance with policies, procedures and standards relating to fire prevention, building safety and security.
✔Provide expert technical advice.
✔Perform financial tasks (such as creation of purchase orders, payment of invoices, ect).
✔Collaborate with external and internal partners.

Intent of the process

A pool of partially assessed candidates will be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions, within the Department of Public Services and Procurement Canada, with various security requirements and/or tenures with a BBB linguistic profile in Ottawa and Gatineau.

A variety of assessment tools may be used in the assessment of candidates. Also note that certain competencies will be assessed globally. This means that candidates may proceed through all the assessment steps, including the reference check phase at which time a global score will then be assigned that will indicate an overall pass / fail. All information collected throughout the selection process from the submission of the application until the end of the process could be used to assess the candidates.

Assessments will be conducted remotely, via different platforms such as TEAMS, Zoom and Vidcruiter.

During the application or assessment process, both cheating and plagiarism are considered forms of misconduct and are not permitted. Any person found cheating, including those who help others to cheat, may be subject to removal from the selection process.
