Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) helps the Government of Canada serve Canadians. Education:
A Secondary School diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience in the following:
EX1 – Experience in the administration of the daily operation of an executive or senior manager’s office. (Activities could include but not limited to: organizing and maintaining electronic and hard copy filing systems, arranging travel and accommodations, organizing meetings and teleconferences, managing agendas and schedules).
EX2 - Managing correspondence and confidential information.
EX3 - Experience in managing financial related tasks. (Activities could include budgets forecasting, tracking office expenditures, invoice management or reconciliation.)

Abilities

Education:
Post-secondary diploma or certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution in office administration, Certified World-Class Assistant (CWCA), Certified Executive Administrative Professional (CEAP) , Canadian Certified Administrative Professional (CCAP), or Accredited Advance Certificate for the Executive Assistant (ACEA).
Experience:
AEX1 - Experience using SharePoint and/or Systems Applications and Products (SAP).
AEX2 - Experience writing and proof reading confidential correspondence.
AEX3 - Experience in creating and amending travel arrangements.
AEX4 - Experience using advanced functions of videoconferencing tools (such as MS Teams, Zoom, WebEx).
AEX5 - Experience using Microsoft suite with a focus on Excel and Outlook.
AEX6 - Experience with data entry, data verification and error correction.
AEX7 - Experience in managing projects.
AEX8 - Experience as an administrative assistant or executive assistant in the Federal Public Service.
AEX9 – Experience coordinating team events in a virtual environment.

Operational Requirements:
- Be willing and able to work overtime on short notice.

In assessing candidates, assessment boards may use a variety of tools and methods including, but not limited to written and oral tests, recorded interviews, and reference checks.

The selection board may, at any point during the selection process, use random selection or apply asset criteria to select candidates for the next phase of the assessment.
Preference will be given to veterans first and then to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
