POSITION LOCATION:
This position is located in Ottawa; however, the successful candidate may work from the Ottawa, Vancouver, Montreal or Toronto office.
As a result of the global pandemic, OSFI employees are currently working from home. Should the current telework environment no longer apply, and contingent on the operating model adopted by OSFI, you may be required to report into and work onsite from one of the following offices: Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, or Vancouver. As Senior Analyst (RE-05), Corporate Planning and Performance, you will be leading activities to support the delivery of OSFI’s corporate planning and performance measurement functions. You will be working as part of a small, highly collaborative team responsible for delivering these functions. You will work closely with other areas of the business, including but not limited to, OSFI’s Transformation Office, Enterprise Risk Management Division and various central operations teams.
As Manager (RE-06), Corporate Planning and Performance, you will be managing a team of analysts to support the delivery of OSFI’s corporate planning and performance measurement functions, working closely with the Transformation Office, Enterprise Risk Management Division and various central operations teams. You will also be leading consultation processes involving a variety of internal and external stakeholders, and delivering presentations to various audiences, including senior management.
You should possess the following attributes:

The immediate need is to staff one indeterminate RE-05 and one indeterminate RE-06 position with a language requirement of bilingual imperative CBC/CBC.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
• A degree from a post-secondary institution with specialization in business, commerce, economics, finance, mathematics, actuarial science, accounting, public administration or other relevant field OR an acceptable combination of relevant professional industry experience and education.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
• Recent and significant experience in supporting the development and implementation of processes and developing reporting products, in either corporate planning, performance measurement or statutory reporting.
• Recent and significant experience in preparing briefing materials (e.g., briefing notes, presentations, reports, etc.) to senior management in the areas of corporate planning and/or performance measurement.
• Experience in providing strategic advice and recommendations on complex issues.
ASSET EDUCATION
• Professional certificate/certification in performance measurement
• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
ASSET EXPERIENCE
• Experience in a central support function (including Supervision Methods, Standards and Controls, formerly Common Supervisory Services) within financial sector regulation and/or supervision of OSFI.
• Experience interpreting and applying central agency policies and management frameworks, including identifying and implementing modifications and/or improvements.
• Experience in delivering presentations to various audiences, including senior management.
• Experience in developing and leading consultation processes involving a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

OSFI is a separate agency with its own classification and compensation system. OSFI's staffing is subject to the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA).
