Passport Officer
This position will require you to work in-person to process citizens' files for their Passport.
🚩 It is possible that you will have to go to our temporary work place located at 200 Montcalm Street, Gatineau (Quebec). However, our permanent location is at 22 Varennes Street, Gatineau (Quebec).

Paid training will also be offered to you. Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete a 3-week full-time (37.5 hours per week) training course (travel may be required) and a structured 10-week apprenticeship program.
✅ The goal of this process is to create a pool of bilingual qualified candidates to meet Service Canada's significant need to hire new officers to help with passport processing at our processing centre in Gatineau (Quebec).
The pool may also be used to fill similar positions in Gatineau within Service Canada at ESDC.

Operational requirements:
• Willing and able to work shift work (day and/or night) (between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm or 4:00 pm and midnight)
• Willing and able to work overtime as needed

You must consent to a credit check and finger printing.
Applicants must complete the Unsupervised Internet Test of Cognitive Ability - Level 1 as part of the screening for this selection process. This test assesses general problem solving and reasoning ability. You will have 60 minutes to complete the test. You must complete the test before you submit your application for this position.
