This process will be managed by the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, Office of the Chief Information Officer of Canada, and used by various federal government organizations. Candidates may be contacted to be further assessed.
A pool will be established and may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures.

Education:
- Graduation from a two-year program of study from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed; or
- Equivalent experience: If you have on-the-job learning or other non-conventional training that you believe is equivalent to the two year post-secondary requirement, put it forward for consideration.
Managers may accept a combination of education, training and/or experience in a related field as an alternative to the minimum post-secondary education stated above.
Experience:
- Experience providing IT technical support or guidance to users;
- Experience with common desktop operating systems.

My personal information has changed, what should I do?
Simply update them in the "Personal Information" section, in the "My Job File" menu of your account. This will allow us to have your current contact information and ensure adequate follow-up in the event that your application is considered as part of a process issued from this inventory.
We will communicate with you about this process by email. As a result, you must update your Public Service Resourcing System profile if it changes. Applicants should use an email address that accepts messages from unknown senders (some email systems block such messages).
Preference will be given to veterans first and then to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
