Duties

The Senior Database Analyst will be responsible for, among other things, the management and control of real property information, the production of related reports and analyzes for decision-making purposes. Contributes to the development of departmental policies, guidelines and standards related to real property information management. Ensures the quality of information and reports to various internal and external stakeholders. Develops presentation documents to facilitate the exchange of information. Provides advice, guidance and training on real property information management systems.

EDUCATION

EED1: A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience experience in a field related to the duties of the position.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE

EEX1: Significant* experience working in the real property field.
EEX2: Experience developing and implementing practices, procedures or standards related to real property information.
EEX3: Experience in managing comprehensive databases and the tracking of information pertinent to real property decisions such as acquisitions, disposals, easements, licenses or rights of ways.
EEX4: Experience managing a national integrated real property information system including the integration of CAD (Computer Aided Design) and GIS (Geographical Information System) data.

Notes:
*Significant is defined as three years of experience within the last five years.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE

AEX1: Experience in monitoring and reporting on national compliance with Central Agency or departmental standards and processes related to real property information management.
AEX2: Experience using Geographical Information System (GIS).
AEX3: Experience using AutoCAD 2015 or later.
AEX4: Experience using Microsoft Access 2007 or later, Archibus, Maximo, MS Sharepoint or SAP.

Reliability Status
