Intent of the process

The immediate need is to staff one (1) bilingual imperative BBB/BBB position for an indeterminate basis.

A partially or fully assessed pool may be established to staff similar positions within the Department of Justice with various tenures, various linguistic profiles (bilingual imperative only), various operational requirements and/or various conditions of employment.

EDUCATION
ED1 - Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.

Note: Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within the program in the required specialization. Some courses within one or more of the following field could be considered as an acceptable specialization:
- Mathematics
- Computer science
- Data science / data analysis
- Demography / population studies
- Statistics

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
EX1 - Experience* in managing or leading projects or teams.
EX2 - Significant experience** in preparing analyses and reports that support evidence-based decision making, service or process improvements.
EX3 - Significant experience** providing strategic advice to senior management (Director level or higher).
EX4 - Significant experience** in writing briefing notes and presentations to various groups, including senior management (Director level or higher).

*Refers to experience normally acquired over a period of approximately three (3) years or more.
**Significant experience refers to experience normally acquired over a period of approximately five (5) years or more.

EXPERIENCE
AEX1 - Experience in delivering corporate programs and policies including one or more of the following: data strategy, data governance, data quality framework, data standards, analytical framework, performance measurements, data science framework or strategy.
AEX2 - Experience in leading advanced data analytics programs including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing.
