⭐Expedited process - Stay tuned to our communications. The written exam is included in your application to expedite the process. Candidates who pass the written exam may be invited to an interview this summer. Candidates should make themselves available, if possible, so as not to delay the selection process.
The exam includes 2 questions that will be used to assess the following two competencies: (1) Showing initiative and being action-oriented and (2) Working effectively with others. Candidates are asked to write a minimum of 250 words per question. Written communication will be assessed through the written exam.

- CR-05: Interpretation Service Assistant
- PM-01: Case Management Officer
💪Tasks include (but are not limited to):
- Plan and coordinate hearings
- Analyze, prepare and update files
- Work with physical(paper) and digital files
- Consultation, data entry and verification of the computerized file management system
- Serve as a liaison with the various parties
- Provide operational advice and instructions to internal and external clients
- Respond to inquiries by phone, in person or electronically
- Identify and resolve issues related to operational procedures

The immediate requirement is to fill several positions at the CR-05 or PM-01 group and level in Montreal (Quebec) and Ottawa (Ontario) by fall 2022 within the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB).
⭐A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates may be established from this selection process and may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures, various linguistic profiles as well as various security clearances within the IRB.

EDUCATION
- A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Note : An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience is defined as an successful 4 years of secondary education and 2 years in a field relevant to the work to be performed.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
The positions to be filled require an intermediate level of bilingualism in reading, writing and oral communication. Selected candidates may be assessed during the process or may be asked to provide their previous Public Service Commission result.

- Experience in providing administrative support services such as, (but not limited to): managing correspondence, booking rooms, scheduling meetings, handling customer requests, coordinating documents or meetings

8. On October 6, 2021, the Government of Canada announced details of its intention to require vaccination across the federal public service. The requirement for employees to be fully vaccinated applies whether they are teleworking, working remotely or working on-site. Should you reach the point in the selection process where it is necessary to verify terms and conditions of employment then the hiring manager or a human resources representative will contact you in order to complete an attestation.
Preference will be given to veterans first and then to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
