Assessment accommodation

⭐Expedited process - Stay tuned to our communications. The written exam is included in your application to expedite the process. Candidates who pass the written exam may be invited to an interview this summer. Candidates should make themselves available, if possible, so as not to delay the selection process.

The exam includes 2 questions that will be used to assess the following two competencies: (1) Showing initiative and being action-oriented and (2) Working effectively with others. Candidates are asked to write a minimum of 250 words per question. Written communication will be assessed through the written exam.

Duties

The positions to be filled imminently are :
- CR-05: Scheduler
- CR-05: Interpretation Service Assistant
- PM-01: Case Management Officer

💪Tasks include (but are not limited to):
- Plan and coordinate hearings
- Analyze, prepare and update files
- Work with physical(paper) and digital files
- Consultation, data entry and verification of the computerized file management system
- Serve as a liaison with the various parties
- Provide operational advice and instructions to internal and external clients
- Respond to inquiries by phone, in person or electronically
- Identify and resolve issues related to operational procedures

Intent of the process

The immediate requirement is to fill several positions at the CR-05 or PM-01 group and level in Montreal (Quebec) and Ottawa (Ontario) by fall 2022 within the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB).

⭐A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates may be established from this selection process and may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures, various linguistic profiles as well as various security clearances within the IRB.

Preference
