Since 1976, the Imaging and Receiver General Operations Directorate (IRGOD) has been managing bank reconciliation and providing investigation services for Government of Canada (Receiver General) payments. IRGOD acts as Receiver General for the bank reconciliation of all payments issued by the Government of Canada, as well as participating provincial programs. IRGOD provides investigation and customer service for the authentication and status verification of Receiver General payments for financial institutions and government departments and provides and coordinates fraud detection services for various government departments in collaboration with Canadian police forces. IRGOD carries out the debt collection launched in 2014, in collaboration with the Pension Center.

IRGOD incorporated document scanning into the Receiver General for Canada process in 2001. IRGOD provides quality and efficient document imaging and data capture services for federal agencies, leveraging internal and private sector solutions. IRGOD ensures image processing, indexing and secure archiving of electronic documents (Protected B, Secret) and supports the modernization of government as well as the automation of processes.

This innovative and dynamic environment is located in Matane, Quebec, a welcoming French-speaking city located between the Bas Saint-Laurent and Gaspésie.

We are One PSPC!
Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) helps the Government of Canada serve Canadians. With a strong focus on quality customer service, we provide innovative common services such as real estate and building management, purchasing, banking, pay and pensions, and translation to other government departments, agencies and boards. By providing these centralized services to departments and agencies, we enable them to focus on what they do best: providing their programs and services to Canadians.

At PSPC, we are committed to achieving a competent, representative workforce that reflects the diversity of the Canadian population. We work hard to create a welcoming, respectful and inclusive workplace through a variety of programs and initiatives. In fact, we have been named one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers for the fifth year in a row and here is a list of some of our diversity and inclusion achievements:
• five diversity networks;
• a Task Force on Anti-racism, Workplace Culture and Equity;
• a national Reconciliation and Indigenous Engagement Unit;
• an Ombudsman for Mental Health (the first such position within the federal public service);
• an Accessibility Office and;
• a Gender-based Analysis Plus (GBA+) Centre of Expertise.

While many programs and initiatives have already been implemented in line with our commitments to diversity and inclusion, we aim to get better! That's why we invite you to be part of the change by joining an organization where individual differences are recognized, valued and respected. Be part of the solution!

This is a condition of employment and it applies to indeterminate (permanent), determinate (term), casual, and student hiring. Should you reach the point in the selection process where it is necessary to verify terms and conditions of employment then the hiring manager or a human resources representative will contact you in order to complete an attestation.
