Intent of the process

The intent of this staffing process is to create a pool of qualified candidates which may be used to fill identical or similar positions with various tenures, security profiles and linguistic requirements within Fisheries and Oceans Canada and the Canadian Coast Guard in the NCR.

Please note as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many of us are working remotely for the time being. Assessments will be conducted virtually. If you are appointed to a position, DFO will provide tools and equipment to support remote work. As public health restrictions ease, the successful candidate will be expected to report to a DFO office, dependent on departmental policy.
