including mail, procurement and contracting, records management, and overall
client service. You will be dealing with a variety of tasks where each day is different from the next.

Please note: as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are working remotely. If you are appointed to this position, PacifiCan will provide tools and equipment to support remote work. As public health restrictions ease, the successful candidate will be expected to report to and work at the office.
PacifiCan offices are open environments with well-regulated air quality, ergonomic sit/stand workstations, and a combination of natural and fluorescent lighting. The physical demands of this position includes spending a significant amount of time working on a computer.

Education:
Successful completion of a secondary school diploma, or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
• Recent* and significant** experience in the provision of administrative support services to internal clients and/or the public.
• Experience providing administrative support in material management, general procurement, contracting or accommodations.
• Experience managing conflicting priorities and meeting operational deadlines.
• Recent* experience in the use of various software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Outlook or equivalent software systems.
* “Recent” experience is defined as having performed associated duties within the past two (2) years.
** “Significant” experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with the performance of duties for approximately one (1) year. Experience may include paid or volunteer work.

• Experience using a corporate travel management system, such as HRG Shared Travel Services.
• Experience working in financial tracking software.
Operational Requirements:
• Willingness to work overtime, as required.
• Willingness to travel, as required.
• Willingness and ability to lift up to 20 KG.
