We’re looking for a digital communications expert to join our communications team and help chart the course for an engaging and informative social media presence.
Whether you are proposing new social media strategies, producing content, or planning campaigns, we’re looking for someone who can take the initiative and play an important role in proactive and effective storytelling online.

Please note: as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are working remotely. If you are appointed to a position, PacifiCan will provide tools and/or equipment to support remote work. As public health restrictions ease, the successful candidate will be expected to report to a PacifiCan office location in British Columbia.
PacifiCan offices are open environments with well-regulated air quality, ergonomic sit/stand workstations, and a combination of natural and fluorescent lighting.
A pool of qualified candidates will be established and may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures, work locations, language requirements and conditions of employment.

Education:
• A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with a specialization in Communications, Marketing or Public Relations, OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
• Experience in creating digital communication plans and content strategies.
• Experience in developing a variety of digital communications materials, such as social media posts and articles, web content, video scripts and infographics.
• Experience managing social media channels, including using content scheduling software.
• Experience in social media analysis and reporting.
