EDUCATION
E1: Provincial (Ontario) certificate of qualification in one of the following trades: Operating Engineer Third Class, Electrician, Refrigeration Mechanic, Plumber, Pipefitter or Industrial Mechanic- Millwright.
EXPERIENCE
EX1: Experience in maintenance and operation of building Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), low-pressure boilers and related equipment (i.e. centrifugal pumps, chemical pumps, pneumatics and control valves).
EX2: Experience in troubleshooting refrigeration systems.

AQ1: Possession of multiple certificates of qualification as listed under E1.

K1: Knowledge of testing parameters for water treatment and determining corrective action.

K4: Knowledge of working with computer associated software including Outlook, Excel, MS Word and Building Management System software.
ABILITIES

On October 6, 2021, the Government of Canada announced details of its plans to require vaccination across the federal public service. As per the new Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, federal public servants in the Core Public Administration and members of the RCMP must attest to their vaccination status. The requirement for employees to be fully vaccinated applies whether they are teleworking, working remotely or working on-site. This is a condition of employment and it applies to indeterminate (permanent), determinate (term), casual, and student hiring.
