Fisheries and Oceans Canada is looking for dynamic and dedicated individuals to be part of our team of IT professionals from coast to coast. The intent of the process is to staff multiple Team Leader vacancies with varying specializations, locations, and security profiles. Some positions may require additional merit criteria.

EDUCATION
Graduation from a two-year program of study from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.

EXPERIENCE
A minimum of three (3) years of experience working as an IM/IT professional in at least one of the following areas:
-Application development, maintenance or support
-Database and data administration
-IT security operations, incident management or risk management
-Infrastructure operations
-IT Service Desk
-IT Project Management
A minimum of three (3) years of experience working with clients in the analysis and documentation of requirements for IM/IT projects.
Experience in leading an IM/IT project or having been responsible for a key deliverable throughout a project or initiative.
EDUCATION
A diploma from a 3-year program offered by a recognized educational institution with specialization in computer science, computer engineering or any other field related to the position.
A bachelor's degree from a recognized educational institution with specialization in computer science, computer engineering or any other field related to the position.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in leading a team including assigning and coordinating the work of technical staff.
Experience using Agile methodologies.
Experience in application development using Java or .NET Technologies for Web Applications.
Experience in the configuration and support of the Microsoft 365 software suite, specifically, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, or the Power Platform.
Experience using Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS to develop, manage, or automate cloud services.
Experience in application development using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or CRM.
Experience in Procurement for IT goods or services.
Experience in performing a variety of activities for the preparation of multi-year investment plans, including strategic, financial and project prioritization.
Experience in financial management including both operating and capital fiscal planning cycles.
Professional certification in ITIL, security, Microsoft, Oracle, CISCO, Unix/Linux, CISA, CISSP, or McAfee.
Experience in the Security Assessment and Authorization process, including performing Statements of Sensitivity and Threat Risk Assessments (TRA) on IT Systems.
Experience in using one or more of the following IT Security principles, methods, practices or tools: ITSG-33, Harmonized TRA, ITSD-02, ITSG-22 or ITSG-38.
Experience in administering a corporate web filter, McAfee E-policy Orchestrator, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Intune or Aruba Clear Pass.
Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)
