πŸ“’ We are looking for talented individuals to fill several administrative positions immediately.

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) and specifically the Infrastructure Asset Management (IAM) sector is looking to staff various administrative positions in the NCR - National Capital Region (Ottawa and Gatineau) and one position in Victoria, British Columbia. These positions include Administration Officers, Administrative Support Coordinators and Executive Assistants. We appreciate the vital role support personnel can play in contributing to IAM’s mandate namely in the areas of administrative, human resources, financial, information management and executive support services.

The IAM sector manages and operates a wide range of infrastructure assets across the country which includes a portfolio of specialized assets such as the central heating and cooling plants in Ottawa/Gatineau, various bridges and dams across the country, 835 km of the Alaska Highway and the Esquimalt Graving Dock in Victoria BC.

Successful candidates will be attached to a particular unit within the sector and will support that team. Key activities include support in one or more administrative fields such as human resources, finance/budgeting, materiel management, information management, health and safety, or general administrative services. The Executive Assistants will provide direct support to a senior manager. While specific duties will vary from position to position, duties will also generally include providing information on the application of policies, directives and procedures; inputting data into the department’s electronic systems, preparing documentation requests for clients and ensuring follow up and preparing and editing reports and presentations.

Intent of the process

The intent is to staff indeterminate positions in the National Capital Region. One (1) position will also be staffed on an indeterminate basis in Victoria, British Columbia.
