We are Canada’s national wildlife organization. Our central area of focus is on the protection and management of migratory birds, non-aquatic species at risk and their nationally important habitats. EDUCATION:
BI-03
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a natural, physical or applied science with specialization in a field, such as biology, ecology, or natural resource management, relevant to the duties of the position.
PC-03
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, with acceptable specialization in physics, geology, chemistry or some other specialization relevant to the position.
EXPERIENCE:
EX1: Experience in developing briefings and presentations that provide science-based advice and recommendations to management.
EX2: Experience in developing policy or program advice related to wildlife conservation, species at risk, habitat, or other biodiversity conservation issues
EX3: Experience analyzing and interpreting complex abiotic and biological or other environmental information and communicating it to diverse audiences including management.
EX4: Experience working collaboratively with internal or external partners or stakeholders and maintaining effective relationships.
