The Jordan's Principle Directorate is composed of several complementary teams, specializing in policy development, front line operations, audits and evaluation, finance, and business analytics. These team's work in collaboration with each other and partners like Synergy in Action, to ensure the services provided through Jordan's Principle have meaningful and long-term impacts on the outcomes of Indigenous children.

Duties

As a member of one of these key Analytics and Data Science teams within ISC, you will be integral to the implementation of analytics driven projects that may have sweeping and immediate impacts on frontline operations and systematic service delivery issues faced by the Government in this new digital world. If you are passionate about combining your experience in business intelligence, analytics, statistics, data mining, and/or data science with great people skills and a knack for seeing the “bigger picture”, you may be a perfect fit for this position.

In this role, you will be responsible for working with many internal partners and program clients to build relationships, manage the project needs/scope, resolve technical and non-technical issues, manage expectations and deliver a data driven environment. You will creatively find new data sources which complement operational stores, develop your own data models aligned with the clients strategic goals, work with data engineers to automate your logic into our enterprise environment, all the while ensuring continuous stakeholder buy-in and successfully navigating complex organizational situations. As an intermediate position in the team, you will be part of larger projects led by Senior team members, while also concurrently managing your own small to medium projects, project team and clients.

Members of the Business Analytics arm may also be versed in and provided R, Python, or programs that use DAX and/or T-SQL.
