On June 14, 2022, the Government of Canada announced that it was suspending vaccination mandates across the federal public service. As a result on June 20, 2022, the Policy on Vaccination has been suspended until further notice. Despite the vaccination condition of employment being listed as a requirement at the time of this initial advertisement, candidates will no longer be required to be vaccinated prior to being considered for an appointment from this process.

EDUCATION:
A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.
The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:
• A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
• An acceptable combination of education and experience, including at least one (1) year experience in administrative support or client service.
EXPERIENCE:
EX1 Experience providing client services (in person, by phone or in writing).
EX2 Experience using Microsoft Office Suite softwares such as; MS team, Word, Excel, Outlook and/or PowerPoint.
EX3 Experience providing *administrative support*.
EX4 Experience in performing administrative services in at least four (4) of the following:
o Coordinating meetings, teleconferences and/or videoconferences;
o Taking minutes;
o Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence;
o Data entry;
o Tracking various sources of information and/or reports;
o Editing and verifying correspondence and/or reports.
*Examples of administrative support services: tracking and coordinating tasks, monitoring email messages regularly, filing, performing messenger services.
Willingness to work overtime as required.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)

EDUCATION
Successful completion of a diploma or degree from a recognized institution in secretarial studies, office administration, business administration, finance/accounting or other field related to the position.
AEX1 Experience in proofreading, editing or formatting various types of correspondence.
AEX2 Experience applying administrative procedures or directives.
AEX3 Experience in providing support in Human resources.
AEX4 Experience in providing budget and financial support services including procurements and contracts.
Reliability status or secret security clearance.
