The immediate need is to staff one position on an indeterminate basis, with a linguistic profile of bilingual imperative CBC/CBC and a security clearance of the RCMP Top Secret status.
A pool of candidates may be established inclusive of Public Service (PS) employees and Civilian Members (CM); and may be used to staff similar positions within the RCMP in the National Capital Region on an indeterminate or specified period (including term, acting, or assignment/secondment) basis, with a linguistic profile of bilingual imperative CBC/CBC and various RCMP security clearances.
Should a Public Service (PS) employee be found qualified and selected for appointment, notification regarding the PS appointment, if applicable, will be posted on www.jobs.gc.ca in accordance with the Public Service Employment Act.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

Education :
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
EX-01. *Significant experience in building and maintaining partnerships with various stakeholders such as federal government officials, provincial/territorial governments, law enforcement, policing agencies and other stakeholders.
EX-02. *Significant experience in the development and implementation of strategies, policies and/or national program initiatives.
EX-03. *Significant experience in human resources management** and financial management***.
*Significant experience is defined as having the depth and breadth of the experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of various, complex related activities which would have been acquired over a period of three (3) years or more.
**Managing human resources is defined as directing or overseeing people/staff, including employee performance management, assignment of work, workload management, leading and directing teams through the setting of priorities, developing or contributing to the development of staffing plans, etc. Applicants must indicate the number of staff reporting to them, as well as the length of time. This experience is normally acquired over a period of a minimum of two (2) years.
***Managing financial resources is defined as overseeing financial resources and being responsible for sound financial planning, forecasting and reporting. Applicants must indicate the size of the budget they managed directly or indirectly, as well as the length of time. This experience is normally acquired over a period of a minimum of two (2) years. Clear and specific examples should be provided by applicants in their application and demonstrate evidence of accountabilities, deliverables and level of complexity.
Education
Graduation with a Master’s degree from a recognized university in a field relevant to the duties of the position.
Experience
AEX-01. Experience in developing and implementing innovative national leadership strategies and educational programming to support the professionalization of policing.
AEX-02: Experience in developing and implementing strategies to support sustainable programming.
AEX-03: Experience across the cyber security, cyber-crime and stakeholder community.
AEX-04: Experience in the digital training environment.
AEX-05: Experience with government cost-recovery programming.

Top Secret security clearance - The successful applicant will have to obtain an RCMP Top Secret security clearance. This process requires a Security/Reliability Interview, a field investigation in matters of Criminal Activities, credit/finances, education, employment, references, etc.
