Who are we?
Synergy in Action Directorate
Information Management Branch, Chief Finances, Results and Delivery Officer
Synergy is defined as the creation of a whole that is greater than the sum of its individual parts. The Synergy in Action Directorate is comprised of four complementary teams with specialists in the areas of project management, business analytics, data analysis, development, internal operations and more! Our operations can be likened to an ecosystem – we are all interconnected and work dynamically.
Our goal is to help improve the quality of life of Canada’s Indigenous population by providing efficient, performant and accessible tools and products to our decision makers in the Canadian government. To achieve this, you can expect to see a high degree of collaboration, adaptability and relationship-building in our team. We strive for collective success and for making a positive difference - together.
In this role, you will be a Business Solutions Analyst responsible for leading and coordinating complex projects from beginning to end while supporting SIA’s many internal and external partners. Strong analytical skills, and a sound understanding of business process improvement and risk management solutions are necessary to allow you to adequately support clients with their requests in a Business Intelligence environment. You will work closely with the senior manager, project coordinator, associate business solutions analyst, and the whole Synergy in Action team.
What’s the team like? How do we work?
Collaboration is the key to staying successful and you can expect a lot of it here! Our team members are passionate, self-motivated and friendly! In our work, change is constant. We have a strong ecosystem that enables us to be skillful and be in a position to respond efficiently to operational pressures.
What do we offer?
Career advancement and learning opportunities, work/ life balance, good salaries and benefits, meaningful work and more!
What are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate is a leader that is able to adapt and work in uncertainty or new situations. Things change at a drop of a hat and they change frequently. This role will involve taking on new challenges and tackling many problems on behalf of the team for the first time. We value ideas and creativity, both in aesthetic design of our solutions and problem solving approaches. If you are self-motivated, have an internal desire to explore and learn, and enjoy connecting the dots – we want to hear from you.
What We Value?
We value technology, but we value people more; we value negotiation, but we value collaboration more; we value planning, but we value flexibility more; we value documentation, but we value results more.
