Duties

Who are we and what do we do?
Major Case Management Unit (MCMU) provides support to the Federal Policing (FP) mandate to investigate matters relating to serious and organized crime, financial crime and cybercrime. MCMU is responsible for collecting and cataloging investigational data and information using applicable software to prepare court evidence (electronic disclosure).

What will you be doing?
An Information Processor employee contributes to the investigation by providing data management support services. The employee will adapt and follow to the Business Rules within the investigative scope while performing data processing services to ensure data is captured in an accurate and meaningful way. This involves reading investigative documents (such as investigator reports, surveillance reports, etc) to identify key information (such as Persons, Locations, etc.) then enters these pieces of information into the specified electronic case management database.

Intent of the process

The intent of this selection process is to create a pool of qualified candidates to staff Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB term positions for six (6) months with various security requirements. Candidates must be able to work at our office located at 155 McArthur Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario.

Random selection may be used at any time during the process to identify which applicants from the inventory will be assessed.

Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.
