On October 6, 2021, the Government of Canada announced details of its plans to require vaccination across the federal public service. As per the new Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, federal public servants in the Core Public Administration and members of the RCMP must attest to their vaccination status. The requirement for employees to be fully vaccinated applies whether they are teleworking, working remotely or working on-site. This is a condition of employment and it applies to indeterminate(permanent), determinate (term), casual, and student hiring.
Should you reach the point in the selection process where it is necessary to verify terms and conditions of employment then the hiring manager or a human resources representative will contact you in order to complete an attestation.
A pool of qualified candidates will be established and may be used to staff positions of various tenures including permanent or temporary.

A secondary school diploma or successful completion of a provincially / territorially approved secondary school equivalency test, or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience using computer programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point, and electronic mail.
Experience in shipping and receiving, or warehousing, or storage and control of material.
Possession of a current transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certificate
Possession of valid Forklift Operator certificate
Possession of a valid Workplace Hazardous Material information System (WHMIS) certificate
Possession of a valid First aid and CPR certificate
Possession of current Fall Arrest certification
Possession of current Aerial Platform Work certification
Experience in supervising, evaluating and motivating individuals
Experience in ordering, warehousing and dispensing services and commodities such as; clothing, bedding, linens, personal grooming items, household and janitorial supplies, furnishings and housekeeping equipment.
Experience in the handling and storage of dangerous goods.
Experience in the operation of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, trucks, and delivery vehicles.
Experience in operation of a commercial laundry (washers, dryers, clothing presses)
Experience in commercial sewing equipment
Experience in commercial or general housekeeping techniques including the operation and maintenance of housekeeping equipment such as automatic floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, floor polishers, burnishers, etc.
Experience in the proper techniques and methods to clean up bodily fluids, biohazard spills, or other hazardous materials
Experience in a point of sale system (Cashiering)
Experience working for Correctional Service of Canada
