COMPETITIVE SALARY AND BENEFITS:
- Various allowances as per the Isolated Posts and Government Housing Directive such as Environmental allowance and Living Cost Differential
- New employees are entitled to 3 weeks’ vacation leave with pay after 6 months of continuous employment

In addition to the yearly rate of pay, positions located in Wabush NL are eligible to an Environmental Allowance and a Living Cost Differential as per the as per the Isolated Posts and Government Housing Directive (effective date 01.08.21):
ENVIRONMENTAL ALLOWANCE:
- Employee with dependants: $6,208 per year
- Employee without dependants: $3,725 per year
LIVING COST DIFFERENTIAL:
- Employee with dependants: $7,496 per year
- Employee without dependants: $4,497 per year

The intent of the process is to staff one (1) position on an permanent basis.
A pool of partially and/or fully qualified candidates may be established to staff positions on a permanent or temporary basis. These positions may be staffed on an indeterminate (which could include deployments for employees that are already employed at level) or temporary basis (term, acting, assignment or secondment).

EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE
Experience in supervision
Experience in coordinating operations and/or maintenance programs in a shift-work environment
Experience working with Health and Safety programs
Experience in using computer software such as: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook or equivalent
ASSET EDUCATION
Post-secondary education in airport related fields OR programs related to buildings, equipment, airfield maintenance and/or heavy equipment operation or any post-secondary certificate/diploma
ASSET OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Accredited Airport Executive
ASSET EXPERIENCE
Experience in operations and maintenance of airfield infrastructure and/or airport facilities
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Willingness and ability to work overtime on short notice
