Intent of the process

The current intent of the process is to staff one (1) position indeterminately in Gatineau, Quebec. On a case-by-case basis, a telework arrangement could be considered from any location in Canada.

Preference will be given to persons who self-declare as being a member of one or more of the following Employment Equity designated groups: Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities and members of visible minorities.

A pool of fully or partially qualified candidates will be established through this process and may be used to staff identical or similar positions with various tenures, security requirements, position locations or linguistic requirements.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:
➲ Graduation with a master's degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in counseling psychology, educational counseling or guidance counseling.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
➲ Significant* experience in providing career counselling services, including the administration and interpretation of psychometric tools.
➲ Significant* experience in developing and delivering workshops or presentations related to career development.
➲ Experience in organizing activities and preparing documents, guides or manuals related to career development.
➲ Experience interpreting human resources policies, procedures or legislation to meet the needs of management or employees.

❗* Significant experience is defined as experience acquired over a period of approximately three to five (3-5) years.

ASSET EXPERIENCE:
➪ Experience in providing virtual client service.
➪ Experience in providing coaching services.
➪ Experience in formulating interventions in organizational development or change management.
➪ Experience in developing and delivering services tailored to the needs of specific clienteles such as, but not limited to, Indigenous communities, visible minority, persons with disabilities.
