Duties

Junior Real Property Analyst positions reports to the Owner Investor directorate for the Parliamentary Precinct, located in Ottawa, Ontario, which provides the strategic vision and direction for the life cycle asset planning, development and management of the real property portfolio. In addition, this group is responsible for providing a strategic stewardship role, ensuring fulsome portfolio management and integrated investment planning while working with all sectors to fulfill requirements and optimize portfolio assets.

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:

• Ensure data integrity and document management.
• Coordination of space requests.
• Analyze current asset information.
• Assist in developing long term capital plan in line with portfolio plan.
• Assist in directing the development of asset investment strategies and plans in order to provide portfolio decision making tools to maximize portfolio performance.
• Assist in directing the development and act as client for various reports and studies.
• Monitor master portfolio and asset data.
• Communication and information liaison between stakeholders

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
• Real property related certifications achieved OR in progress such as, but not limited to: AACI, BOMI certification, PMP, RPA etc.

Degree equivalency

ABILITY

TELEWORK:
Part-time telework may be possible; however, candidates must be able to work at an office and attend site visits in the National Capital Region (NCR) on a regular basis and on short notice.

requirement-for-the-federal-workforce.html) of its plans to require vaccination across the federal
public service.

As per the new Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the
Royal Canadian Mounted Police (https://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/pol/doc-eng.aspx?id=32694), federal
public servants in the Core Public Administration and members of the RCMP must attest to their
vaccination status. The requirement for employees to be fully vaccinated applies whether they are
teleworking, working remotely or working on-site. This is a condition of employment and it applies to
indeterminate (permanent), determinate (term), casual, and student hiring. Should you reach the point
in the selection process where it is necessary to verify terms and conditions of employment then the
hiring manager or a human resources representative will contact you in order to complete an
attestation.

Preference

Preference will be given to veterans first and then to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
