Important messages

Give yourself the best chance to succeed! As the objective of this process is to assess qualifications needed for the position(s) to be staffed, let us know if you have a functional limitation/disability, which may affect your performance. For example, contact us if you need assistance in completing and submitting your application. Should you then proceed to the next assessment stage, such as an exam or interview, we will send you an e-mail with additional information on the assessment format so that you can determine if you may require an accommodation (such as a different test format, an adaptive technology, or additional time). Assessment accommodations are designed to remove the obstacles without altering the criteria being assessed so candidates with functional limitations can fully demonstrate their abilities.

This is an inventory...you are not applying to a specific position, but rather asking us to refer you for potential opportunities. This inventory is restricted to individuals who will self-declare as an Indigenous person when applying on this inventory. An Indigenous person is a North American Indian or a member of a First Nation, Métis or Inuit. North American Indians or members of a First Nation include treaty, status or registered Indians, as well as non-status and non-registered Indians. The Aboriginal affiliation will be verified at the time of the appointment.

To submit an application on-line, please click on the button "Apply online" below. Persons with disabilities preventing them from applying on-line are asked to contact a toll free number 1-800-645-5605.

You may save your application as a draft and return to it at a later date. Your application must be completed and submitted in order to be considered. You can make modifications to your submitted application at any time, but once your application has been selected for screening, you will no longer be able to make modifications and your submission will be considered final.

How does an inventory work?
An inventory is a selection process that can be used by various hiring managers to meet their current and future needs. As a result, you will apply only once to be considered for multiple job opportunities.

What does "Registered in the inventory" mean?
Once your application has been successfully submitted to the inventory, your status may be: "Date of disclosure of results: Listed in the inventory". This automatically generated message by the system means that your application can be considered. You will be informed in the event that your application is considered as part of a process generated from this inventory.

What happens if my application expires?
You may review the status of your application in your online account. Your application in this inventory will be active for 75 days. A notice that your application is about to expire will be posted to the “My jobs” menu of your account 10 days before the end of your active period. If you do not take action, your application will no longer be active and therefore no longer considered for this inventory. Should your application become inactive while the process is still open, a notice will be posted to your account indicating that your application has expired; you may select the link “Update my Inventory” status to reaffirm your interest.

*******************
ASSESSMENT
*******************

You must meet all the essential criteria in order to be appointed. However, you may be required to meet the asset qualifications or the organizational needs, depending on the requirements of the specific position being staffed.

We ask for your collaboration to ensure an efficient process but we will also try to provide you some flexibility as to where and when the assessments could occur, and the assessments will be done on an ongoing basis.
