As per the new Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, federal public servants in the Core Public Administration and members of the RCMP must attest to their vaccination status. The requirement for employees to be fully vaccinated applies whether they are teleworking, working remotely or working on-site. This is a condition of employment and it applies to indeterminate (permanent), determinate (term), casual, and student hiring. Should you reach the point in the selection process where it is necessary to verify terms and conditions of employment then the hiring manager or a human resources representative will contact you in order to complete an attestation

Do you identify as a member of an Employment Equity group and seek to make a difference as a leader? Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has an impressive mandate and is expanding in many sectors. We are looking to fill EX-01 positions immediately and in the coming months.
APPLY NOW: You only need to apply once to be considered for a variety of leadership roles (EX-01) open to Employment Equity groups at NRCan.
QUALIFICATIONS: To allow as many NRCan teams as possible to use this pool of candidates, we used a list of non-specific qualifications on the poster. Later in the process, hiring managers may request additional information about other qualifications and assets to better match you with appropriate sectors.
ASSESSMENTS: Candidates are not required to submit a cover letter. Instead, candidates will be asked to answer screening questions. We will review your file using as the primary source your detailed responses to the screening questions and your resume will be used as a secondary source. As this process may be used for fill multiple positions, candidates who meet the education and experience requirements may be further assessed using online tools such as self-assessments, situational exercises, presentations, phone or in-person interviews, performance reviews, and reference checks from a variety of sources.

EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution -OR- an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES required for all positions:

Various language requirements
Language requirements for EX-01 positions are Bilingual (CBC/CBC) or Bilingual Non-imperative. A bilingual profile requires that occupants are able to work in both English AND French (Reading, Writing and Oral proficiency). We can only accept second language proficiency assessments issued by the Public Service Commission. A Bilingual Non-imperative agreement may be reached, pending approvals, when candidates do not fully meet the bilingual proficiency level at the time of appointment. The successful incumbent must commit to obtaining the required language profile through language training.
