ABOUT GLOBAL AFFAIRS CANADA
Global Affairs Canada manages Canada’s diplomatic relations, provides consular services to Canadians, promotes the country’s international trade, and leads Canada’s international development and humanitarian assistance.
Global Affairs Canada offers the possibility of flexible work arrangements such as telework, compressed workweeks, leave with income averaging, opportunities to be part of a networking community, and outstanding professional development opportunities in a wide variety of fields and functions.
Note that full-time telework is the current preferred working arrangement for our teams in light of the challenges presented by COVID-19. However, a return to full-time or part-time in the offices is imminent. As such, the option of full-time teleworking could be a possibility, but will need to be confirmed on a case-by-case basis, depending on the operational needs of each position.
DIVERSITY AND INCLUSIVENESS
Our organization offers a healthy, inclusive and diverse workplace where respect, teamwork, and collaboration are part of our culture, and where innovation is valued.
Global Affairs Canada is committed to promoting and supporting values such as equitable treatment, accommodation and an environment free from harassment and discrimination, as well as encouraging and supporting employees to work at their full potential.
Our organization currently has a variety of needs for several FI-01 positions. A pool of candidates will be established to fill similar positions with various tenures at Global Affairs Canada.
