HOW TO APPLY:
You will be required to answer screening questions to demonstrate how you meet the Essential and Asset Qualifications (Education and Experiences). You must meet all the essential qualification in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed.
When answering the screening questions, it is not sufficient to say that you have the required qualifications or to list your current or past responsibilities. Rather, you must provide concrete examples of tasks you have accomplished with significant details to explain the WHAT, WHEN, WHERE and HOW you acquired each qualification.
For each experience criteria, please provide the following information:
1- Name of the department or organization where the experience was acquired;
2- Title of the position occupied, group and level and the period(s) in which you performed the functions (M-Y to M-Y);
3- Specific details of tasks or projects demonstrating how the experience was acquired (Situation/Challenge, Tasks, Action and Result).
Should your responses to the screening questions contain insufficient details to demonstrate that you meet the screening criteria, your application will not be given further consideration in this process. Candidates will not be solicited for incomplete or possible missing information.
As the highest level of subject matter expertise on an assigned area of functionality, develops and maintains expert knowledge of functionality, business processes and rules, organizational changes, policies, directives and reporting requirements of assigned business area. Leads and provides functional guidance to cross functional, multi-disciplinary project teams throughout the systems development lifecycle of departmental systems initiatives. Elicits, analyzes, communicates and validates business, functional and user requirements regarding changes within assigned area of functionality. Presents design options to stakeholders, facilitates their understanding of proposed strategies, identifies and resolves problems. Conducts on-going maintenance of the assigned area of functionality. Supervises the work of junior functional analysts. Plans and conducts tests on system changes and enhancements. Represents the department on interdepartmental committees and working groups as required.

The positions are located in Ottawa. Flexibility maybe provided by offering employees the opportunity to work remotely (virtually) from anywhere in Canada, if feasible. This determination will be made one a case by case basis once the process is completed.
The immediate need is to staff two positions on an indeterminate basis, with linguistic profiles of Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB and English essential and an Enhanced Reliability security clearance.
A pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions within the RCMP in the National Capital Region on an indeterminate or specified period (including term, acting, or assignment) basis, with various linguistic profiles and various RCMP security clearances.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.

►Extensive* experience implementing, supporting or enhancing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (implementing, supporting or enhancing an ERP system is defined as the experience acquired by performing two or more of the following: requirements gathering, analysis, writing functional specification documentation, training, and/or testing).
►Experience documenting business processes, and/or procedures
►Experience working with various stakeholders and being responsible for the execution of multiple deliverables.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
►Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a related field.
►Business Analyst certification.
►Experience working as a Functional/Business Analyst supporting an Enterprise Resource Planning system
►Experience implementing or supporting PeopleSoft GC HRMS 8.9 or greater. (experience implementing or supporting must extend beyond Self Service)
►Experience implementing or supporting SAP ECC 6.0 or higher (experience implementing or supporting must extend beyond Self Service)
►Experience providing operational service delivery or program/policy development in the area of Human Resources
►Experience providing operational service delivery or program/policy development in the Areas of Finance or Logistics

As per the new Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, federal public servants in the Core Public Administration and members of the RCMP must attest to their vaccination status. This is a condition of employment and it applies to indeterminate (permanent), determinate (term), casual, and student hiring.
