COVID-19 VACCINATION POLICY:
On October 6, 2021, the Government of Canada announced details of its plans to require vaccination across the federal public service.
As per the new Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, federal public servants in the Core Public Administration and members of the RCMP must attest to their vaccination status. The requirement for employees to be fully vaccinated applies whether they are teleworking, working remotely or working on-site. This is a condition of employment and it applies to indeterminate (permanent), determinate (term), casual, and student hiring. Should you reach the point in the selection process where it is necessary to verify terms and conditions of employment then the hiring manager or a human resources representative will contact you in order to complete an attestation.

Your mandate:
Under the supervision of the Chief, Stakeholder Engagement
THE ANALYST - DEVELOPMENT AND PARTNERSHIPS (EC-05)
conducts research (economic or statistical analyses) on economic and socio-economic issues related to the context and implications of procurement, barriers to supplier success, and industry trends.
The analyst uses this analysis to provide policy recommendations and sector profiles and to support operational planning to advance departmental and Procurement Assistance Canada priorities.
The analyst leads the coordination and execution of outreach and engagement activities to raise public awareness of the federal procurement process and opportunities and to hear from communities on procurement issues.
The analyst provides advice to internal and external stakeholders related to the economic factors of a given region or industrial sector and on the positioning of federal procurement in this context.

THE ADVISOR - DEVELOPMENT AND PARTNERSHIPS (EC-06)
is the subject matter expert providing advisory services, such as economic, socio-economic and statistical research studies for the design, development and evaluation of public procurement.
The advisor provides advice and recommendations on procurement systems to the Branch, the Department, other departments and agencies and to stakeholders related to business process reengineering.
The advisor leads the development and implementation of the stakeholder engagement strategy, both internally and externally, and acts as a liaison between federal procurement officials and the business community.
The advisor provides advice to internal and external stakeholders related to economic factors affecting a given region or industry sector and the positioning of federal procurement in this context.
The advisor is responsible for coordinating a limited number of complex projects.
PSPC helps the Government of Canada serve Canadians by providing federal departments with the equipment, spaces and services they need to meet the needs of Canadians.
Our team (Procurement Assistance Canada) supports organizations wishing to become a supplier to the federal government through education and assistance services, such as self-service tools, seminars, workshops and a personalized assistance service. Moreover, you can make a real difference by helping diverse businesses (involving Indigenous people, women, or people with accessibility challenges) access federal government business opportunities.

to hold two positions within the Procurement Assistance Canada Directorate for the department of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).
A pool of partially qualified candidates could be created in order to staff positions with varied language requirements and various tenures (indeterminate, determined, transfer, acting, secondment or assignment) within Public Services and Procurement Canada.

EDUCATION:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution (university) with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree. However, specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of post-secondary education (university) and experience.
