Shared Services Canada is modernizing how the Government of Canada manages its information technology (IT) infrastructure. The Department is mandated to deliver email, data centre and telecommunication services, including videoconferencing and Wi-Fi, to partner organizations.

EDUCATION - BOTH STREAMS

ED1. Graduation from a two-year program of study from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

EXPERIENCE - BOTH STREAMS

EX1. Experience working as an IT Infrastructure Analyst or occupying a similar position building, operating or providing enterprise-level support for systems in two or more of the following areas of IT :

1. Server Administration
2. Programming/Scripting
3. Directory Services Infrastructure support
4. Identity/Credential and Access Management
5. IT Security Operations
6. Cloud Computing (Azure, AWS, etc.)
