EDUCATION
→ Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience, that is comparable to a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization relevant to the work to be performed.

Indeterminate incumbents of positions in the CO group on June 21, 2021, who do not possess the education prescribed above, are deemed to meet the minimum education standards based on their education, training and/or experience. They must be accepted as having met the minimum education standard whenever this standard is called for when staffing positions in the CO group.

EXPERIENCES
Stream 1 - Grant and Contributions
→ Experience working in a grants and contributions program.
Stream 2 - Business Analyst
→ Experience participating in negotiations with external stakeholders who have conflicting interests.
→ Experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

→ Experience in conducting research and analysis on program, policy, business or financial issues.
→ Experience in preparing documents such as reports, backgrounders, briefing notes or presentations, intended for a variety of audiences for example management, clients and/or the public.
→ Experience interpreting and analyzing information from a variety of sources to develop recommendations for decision makers.
→ Experience developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders as it relates to the field of work.

ASSET EDUCATION
→ A graduation with a Master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Law, Public Administration or Policy Management.
→ A recognized professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CMA, CA, CGA).
→ Membership in the Canadian Bar Association or a provincial/territorial bar association.
→ A recognized financial accreditation (e.g., CFP, CIM, RFP or CFA).
→ The Ec.D. (Economic Developer) designation.
