HOW TO APPLY:
You will be required to demonstrate how you meet the education and each of the experience criteria listed in the essential qualifications and any of the applicable asset qualifications on the Statement of Merit Criteria, for the initial screening, by answering the online screening questions. Please be sure to include substantiating details that clearly outline the breadth of experience as well as relevant timelines.
Failure to clearly demonstrate how you meet the screening criteria (Education, Experience, Essential and Asset (if applicable) may result in the rejection of your application. Candidates will not be solicited for incomplete or missing information.
- Provides administrative support for the assessment renewal medical examination reports for pilots and Air Traffic Controllers (ATC's).
- Prepares, triages and performs data entry on files for review of renewal medical examination reports for pilots and ATC's.
- To provide accurate information to external clients effectively and professionally. Answer and redirect calls, when necessary, to proper individuals and/or branches. Corresponding with pilots/ATCs both orally, electronically and written.
- Communicates with and/or responds to Supervisor, Civil Aviation Medical Examiners (CAMEs)'s, Pilots, ATC's and the general public on policies and procedures.
- Data entry of incoming faxes, ensuring incoming medical paperwork placed on files for review.
The results of this process will initially be used to staff one English essential position on an term basis.
A partially or fully assessed pool of candidates may also be created to be used to staff positions with various tenures and linguistic profiles (English essential, bilingual imperative BBB/BBB and CBC/CBC), as required at future dates within Transport Canada.

ED: A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience
EX1: Experience in providing clerical support.
EX2: Experience inputting and updating information databases.
EX3: Experience in providing client service delivery by telephone and electronically.
EX4: Experience in managing and maintaining electronic and manual documentation for tracking and filing systems.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
AEX1: Experience working in the Federal Government.
AEX2: Experience working in a medical environment such as a doctor’s office, hospital, medical clinic or a medical research institute.
AEX3: Experience in providing administrative support services in Information Management.
