Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) has an interesting and unique mandate by playing a role in supporting services and programs in communities such as health, education, economic development, housing, community infrastructure and social support. In the context of reconciliation, ISC supports Indigenous Peoples (First Nations, Inuit and Métis) in their efforts to improve social well-being and economic prosperity to the benefit of all Canadians.

In the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch (FNIHB) of Indigenous Services Canada, we strive to provide access to quality health services, improve health outcomes, and support greater control of the health system by First Nations and Inuit.
