Intent of the process

This selection process may be used to fill existing and anticipatory vacancies.

A pool of qualified or partially assessed candidates will be established and may be used to staff similar positions at this group and level with various security requirements, conditions of employment as well as various tenures (acting, assignment, deployment, term and indeterminate appointment) within Health Canada across Canada.

EDUCATION
A postsecondary school diploma obtained in Information Management, Documentation, Archival Science or Record Management.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
Acceptable experience* in providing client services.

*Acceptable experience is defined as at least 4 months of continuous work experience."

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE
• Experience using an electronic documents management software such as IRIMS, LiveLink, GCdocs or SharePoint.
• Recent experience** in paper and electronic records operations such as filing, sorting, information retrieval and classifying in an Information Management Centre.
• Experience delivering training and information sessions.
• Experience transforming paper information to digital information.

**Recent experience is defined as having been acquired in the last 3 years.

ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS
Current or future needs that could enhance the way in which the organization operates or fulfills its mandate.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Work occasionally outside normal working hours and on weekends.
• Willing to travel within the Quebec Region and the National Capital Region.

Conditions of employment

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
• Security Clearance : Reliability or Secret, depending the position.
• Willing to carry out his/her duties in sometimes cramped and dusty spaces and in uncomfortable positions such as crouching and kneeling.
• Able to lift boxes up to 20 kg.
