You must clearly demonstrate, by answering the screening questions, how you meet the essential educational criteria and, if applicable, the asset experience criteria.
The individual will provide technical support and assistance services to technologists and engineers in electronic assembly and mounting, integration, acquisition, testing and operation of laboratory equipment. They will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation of laboratory equipment and identifying the necessary health and safety aspects and elements of the infrastructure. They will also support technological and scientific demonstration campaigns.

The intent of this selection process is to fill a Laboratory Technician position immediately. A pool of qualified or partially assessed candidates will be created to fill the same or similar positions with varying language, tenure and security requirements.

EDUCATION:
Obtained a Diploma* from a recognized college, CEGEP or technical institute, in electronics or physics engineering techniques.
*Acceptable diplomas are:
- Diploma of Collegial Studies;
- Attestations of College Studies; and
- College Diploma.

KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of the operating principles and maintenance techniques of a wide range of electronic laboratory equipment.
Basic knowledge of electronic circuit theory.
Basic knowledge of approaches, methods, techniques, tools, software and solutions in the field of mechanical, electrical and electronic technologies.
Basic knowledge of laboratory installation solutions and technologies.
Knowledge of laboratory safety practices.
ABILITIES:
Manual thoroughness and dexterity.

EXPERIENCE:
At least one (1) year of work experience in a laboratory in electronics, robotics or physics.
At least one (1) year of work experience acquired in the space field.
