FedDev Ontario actively works to advance and diversify the southern Ontario economy through funding opportunities and business services that support innovation and growth in Canada’s most populous region. We make investments that enhance the productivity and scaling-up of firms, strengthen the region’s diverse innovation ecosystem and support inclusive growth and community development.

As Canada's most populous region—home to 12.7 million residents living in 288 communities—southern Ontario is a key contributor to the overall Canadian economy. FedDev Ontario helps create and grow businesses, cultivate partnerships and build strong communities across the region through its programs and services, including Canada Business Ontario, as well as its program delivery partners.

At FedDev Ontario, your ideas are heard and you have the ability to influence overall organizational change. We are a small, nimble organization, with a focus on innovation.
