The candidate will be selected for their ability to position IRCC at the forefront of financial process modernization for years to come. KEY ACTIVITIES

The position main tasks are as follow:

•Support the Financial Modernization Division in the realization of transformation projects;
•Design, implement, document, test, verify and integrate tracking and reconciliation tools using the VBA programming language;
•Translate business needs into technical solutions;
•Present options for the design and implementation of financial business processes;
•Develop integrated business solutions to automate manual tasks; and
•Participate in a strong collaborative and customer service culture that reflects accountability and transparency at all levels.

Intent of the process

This process will be used to establish a pool of candidates that may be used to staff similar positions at an identical or equivalent group and level with the same official language proficiencies (Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB), various security profiles (Reliability Status, Secret), various tenures (Indeterminate, Temporary) using various staffing mechanisms (Indeterminate appointment, Term appointment, Acting appointment, Deployment, Secondment, Assignment) at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

EDUCATION
Ed1. A secondary school diploma OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
E1. Significant and recent* experience in Visual Basic for Application (VBA) programming
E2. Significant and recent* experience in process/tool design using VBA
E3. Experience with MS Excel application – Pivot Tables, Formulas, etc.

*Significant and recent experience: two (2) years within the last five (5) years
