You MUST clearly demonstrate in writing how you meet the Essential Education, and Experience requirements. Provide examples and describe the work/duties you have performed. Failure to do so may result in your application not being considered further during the screening process.

The immediate need is to staff one permanent full time position.
A qualified group of candidates may be identified and may be used to staff future vacancies (including similar positions, on a temporary, acting or permanent basis, on a casual basis, at full or part time hours).
Once established, the qualified pool will be valid for a period of one year and may be extended.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.

EDUCATION:
EEdu: A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.
The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:
- A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
- An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
EE1: Experience working with clients defining needs, providing solutions and advice and making recommendations.
EE2: Experience working with budgets such as setting forecasts, tracking expenditures, or explaining variances in a system or spreadsheet.
EE3: Experience in legal contracts (such as evaluating, negotiating and preparing legal documents).

EXPERIENCE:
AE1: Experience working in the federal public sector.
AE2: Experience working with legislative and policy framework governing asset management in the federal public service.
AE3: Experience in real property contracting (such as evaluating, negotiating and preparing lease documents).
AE4: Experience in the acquisition of leased space by way of Request For Proposal (RFP) or tender process.
ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS:
1. Preference may be given to RCMP employees affected / impacted by work force adjustment.
2. In support of achieving a representative workforce, consideration may be given to candidates who have self-identified as a member of one or more of the following designated groups: women, members of visible minorities, aboriginal peoples and persons with disabilities.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
OR1: Occasional travel within British Columbia and Yukon Territory may be required.

Reliability Status security clearance - NOTE: Successful candidates will require a valid RCMP security clearance prior to appointment and throughout the tenure of their employment. The process to obtain RCMP security clearance involves a security/reliability interview and a field investigation regarding matters of criminal activity which includes reference checks, verification of credit/financial status, education, employment, etc. As such, the process may take several weeks or months to complete.
