Duties

Support the Government of Canada in becoming more digital and work on a highly visible initiative!

Actively communicating and openly collaborating across various digital government platforms sounds easy enough. But in practice, it can sometimes be more complicated than it needs to be. We’re aiming to tackle this challenge with gcxchange, a government-wide platform that makes it possible for departments and public servants to share news, information, announcements, and to collaborate in one place across agencies and departments.

In this role, you’ll be the face of the platform for many of our users. You’ll reach out to contacts from various communities across the Government of Canada, promoting the site and building the platform’s user base. You’ll design and run workshops with teams to help attendees learn how to use the platform, demonstrating its value and building excitement to use it. You’ll manage incoming communication, answering questions by email, phone, or online platforms, or forwarding them to appropriate team members. You’ll do all of this in a respectful, inclusive way and will conduct all your tasks in both official languages, ensuring all public servants are able to take advantage of the resources available to them through gcxchange.

A thorough security clearance process will be applied to all candidates considered for an appointment; this process includes inquiries, verifications and assessments regarding matters such as, but not limited to:

• criminal record checks
