Intent of the process

This process will be used to staff a position within PSPC Pacific Region. The pool may be used to staff permanent or temporary (such as a specified period appointments, indeterminate or casual) Should the selected candidate already be a public servant, the pool could also be used for assignments, secondments or acting appointments.

A secondary school diploma or an employer approved alternative such as an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience in shipping and receiving of goods and/or stores operations. (i.e. acquisition, receiving, handling, shipping)

Experience using material management systems.

Experience in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook

Possession of a valid motor vehicle driver’s license issued by a Canadian province or territory
Willing and able to wear CSA approved safety footwear and other personal protective equipment as
required.
Willing and able to perform a variety of physical tasks, including but not limited to, standing, climbing,
walking, lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching, and sitting.
Willing and able to work in confined spaces.
Willing and able to work in an industrial setting.
Willing and able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 kg in accordance with general safety practices.
